Head and Neck Radiation


The Journal of Head and Neck Cancer, is a peer-reviewed, open access Journal aims to publish the latest developments in cancer Research. Cancer has long been recognized as the authoritative reference for the most current, clinically relevant and highest quality research in the field of immunology.

 Radiation therapy targets only the tumor. But it will affect some healthy tissue surrounding the tumor.

Side effects:

                     Dry mouth.

                     Mouth and gum sores.

                     Difficulty swallowing.

                     Stiffness in the jaw.


                     Hair loss.

The mouth cancer is a horseshoe-shaped area under the tongue, between the lower jaw bones (the mandible). When a malignant tumor grows in this area it is called floor of the mouth cancer.
